The SUFC EmpowerHER Cup 2025 provided the perfect opportunity to come together and witness the strength, skill, and passion of female athletes on the field. The event was hosted at Ganga Legends, Bavdhan, Pune, and it was an unforgettable celebration of women’s football.

The SUFC EmpowerHER Cup 2025 was more than just a football tournament – it was a celebration of women’s presence and achievements in the football world. With the sport growing in popularity among female athletes, the event was designed to inspire more women and girls to take the field and follow their football dreams.
Event Format and Categories
The tournament adopted an exciting 7-a-side format with both league and knockout rounds, ensuring a competitive and engaging experience for all participants. The event was open to two categories:
- U15 (Born in 2011-2012)
- Open Age Group
Tournament Results
The tournament saw impressive participation, with a total of 12 teams competing:
- U15: 5 teams
- Open-Age: 7 teams
107 participants (U15: 44 and Open-Age: 63 took part, showcasing the growing interest in women’s football.
U15 Category
- Winner: Aspire FC
- Runners-up: Athletico India
- Best Player: Mishka Arun
- Best Goalkeeper: Jenny Raj
Open Age Category
- Winner: Ignite FC
- Runners-up: Deccan XI FC
- Best Player: Sanika Deshpande
- Best Goalkeeper: Shweta Malangave
